Why Should I Learn More or New Stuff After Work

If you are coming from a slightly conservative background, you usually are loyal to your job.

Imagine a post that you have worked at for a decade, you are the authority, I bet no one would like to consider start from scratch and move to another field, right?

Day job is exhausting, gonna rest well once you reach home, you earn enough for your living, even for a certain leeway of life enjoyment, WHY whould you think about learning more?

Why wasting your time while you can use it to enjoy life?

Youngsters in the internet era, have way more exopsure to the world, than those without.
Learning something new before they get into the working society is just at the ease of their fingers.

Knowledge and skills can now be learned from the internet, many emerged with tonnes of interesting skill sets.
The older generation should be glad that they are winning on the experience, or else it wouldn't even be a competition.

Learning usually means, get used to something that totally would not be any useful to you in near future, but you might find it saving you in a pinch.


Many understand that chances are for those who prepared. Those who regreted would understand that when the chance came, they couldn't grab it, because they were just lacking one skill that they wished they had learned it. 

People might mock you for pretending to be smart, just because you wish to learn extra. But heck, it's your problem, not theirs. You are taking responsibility for your life, something you should be proud of.

You might be doubting, jack of all trades, but master of none, is it good?

Well, in term of extra knowledge, you do not have to be master of everything, just be resourceful. you do not know the details of something in discussion, but you know where to get the details out. You could be faster than others to get certain info, just because you are familiar with it, you learned it. You know where to find it when you need it.

You were interested in tinkering computer in high school, yet you felt it was too hard to learn, you gave up. Few years later you meet your crush at work, she is asking for help to fix her computer, you could only introduce her to your friend.

You were interested in designing, but gave up learning photoshop because it was too hard. Few years later you have to give up your dream job oppoturnity, because an extra skill set of photoshop is needed.

The more things you give up learning at young age, the more oppoturnities you will miss in your future.

You learn more knowledge to avoid working for living, You learn more to get to choose what to work as.

When your work gives you the meaning of living, the joy of life, you will have the sense of accomplishment.

When you work not because of your life depends on it, you work with dignity.

When you get to work and live the way you want, you will earn happiness.


At the dilemma of life difficulties, let yourself have the knowledge to choose.
